Salt Forge is a California 501(c)(3) supporting long-term ministry in Japan. We care about integrated life, not programs or short-term bursts. We trust the Lord as we learn healthier models of missional business and community.

Life-on-life formation through church involvement, daily presence, and shared rhythms. Leadership in the local church is central.
Family ministries
Living life alongside the community, aiming to reach children, young adults, and parents as whole households, not isolated programs.

Whether leading or participating, small groups are part of the very long-term relationship building process Japan needs.
Missional business
Exploring healthier work and life models in a work-oriented society, and how those models can strengthen family, community, and witness.
Advisory for missions-minded businesses
From time to time we advise others who share the same goals but need help with business, accounting, marketing, or sales foundations.
A quiet place of rest. Among other things, we help provide a quiet place of rest and refreshment for pastors and missionaries serving in Japan, available by referral. One practical way we strengthen those already laboring long-term.
